Concepts for the 'fitzbot'. Ive changed my idea for the cover of 'The Last Days of Lacuna Cabal" as i felt the original was a little too somber, after re-reading the text i really liked the idea of the 'fitzbot', a little 6 legged robot that follows the characters around.

Rainy day

Observational... realy feel like im hitting my stride with my new brushpen, im starting to enjoy not having to ink over a pencil sketch, it all feels much looser! Just after i finished this though i noticed that the hand is too far up the leg it should be a bit further down i think, oh well :0)

Ditch the pencil!!!!

Ive kind of had a little hiatus from drawing since Christmas (not the best time to start an art blog really :) ) whilst deciding what i want to persue career-wise. In the week however i seem to have a renewed enthusiasm for things and have been drawing like a mad ferral Rolf Harris!

On another note ive decided to ditch pencils for the time being, mainly because i feel im getting way too stiff with my approach to art! We'll see what happens...

Currently working on an entry for this competition . My initial idea features two of the main characters from the excerpts, one of them in a hospital bed while the other writes in his notebook. I just had this image in my head and had to get it on paper i guess.
